Assessment Office   Mission: The Assessment Office is responsible for the valuation of real property for ad valorum (at value) tax purposes. This office does not establish the actual tax amount; we are responsible for the valuation of all real property in the county on which taxes are calculated and levied by the various taxing authorities. Our office also administers the Homestead & Farmstead Exclusion Program (ACT 72-2004) and the Clean and Green Preferential Assessment Program (ACT 319).
