Oct. 29, Stroudsburg Halloween Children’s Parade.


Oct. 29,        Halloween on the Farm, Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm, 1000 Turkey Hill Road, Stroudsburg. Enjoy a spooky visit to the farm and learn about funeral customs, hair art, superstitions, herbal medicine, storytelling and more. Take a wagon ride and try some seasonal treats. 570-992-6161.


Oct. 29 (location, time to be announced) USO Dance at the Legion


Oct. 30, Barrett Township Halloween Parade, 1 pm, (no rain date) Route 390 South, Barrett Elementary School to Mountainhome United Methodist Church.    Participation is free of charge for the general public.  Organizations with floats, bands, volunteer organizations, or the general public with equipment or in costume wanting to walk the route must call and register.  There is no fee.   Candidates running for public office must register and there may be a fee.  Chairperson of the parade committee and contact for registration is Betty Oppelt - Phone 570-595-3276/   Official website for Barrett Township

Dec. 3, 4, 10 & 11, Old Time Christmas, Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm, 1000 Turkey Hill Road, Stroudsburg. Experience Christmas in the 1800s while on a candlelight tour of the farm.
